The treatment in detail
The protocol comes from South Korea, where it settled into salons before reaching Europe. A microneedling pen lays mineral pigments and hydrating actives into the very top layers of the skin. The complexion evens out, redness and light spots soften.
Depth is what separates BB Glow from permanent make-up. The pigments stay at the surface: they clear with the natural renewal of the skin, over a few weeks to a few months. Nothing is permanent, and nothing has a hard outline like a permanent make-up line.
It takes three to four sessions two weeks apart to set the result, then a maintenance session when the complexion dulls. A single session gives a visible but short effect.
The complexion you get is your own, only more even. It is not a foundation: it does not cover a scar and it does not change your skin tone.
You can expect…
An even, luminous complexion that holds without make-up.
The result builds over the first three sessions and then fades slowly. How long depends on how fast your skin renews: a few weeks for some, a few months for others.
