The treatment in detail
Dry skin lacks lipids: it lets water escape because its barrier is incomplete. It feels tight after a shower, it chaps in winter, it reddens in the wind. This treatment puts back oil as much as water.
Fifty minutes, no device: gentle cleansing, an enzymatic exfoliation, a nourishing mask and a massage. The massage earns its place here, driving in what is applied and warming skin that is often sluggish.
Not to be confused with the Sothys Hydra Puissance 4Ha, which targets dehydration, meaning a lack of water, including on oily skin. The skin analysis tells the two apart: the treatment is not the same.
It is the least expensive facial on the menu, and the shortest route to comfortable skin.
You can expect…
Supple, fresh skin that no longer feels tight.
On structurally dry skin, comfort comes back during the session and is kept at home. The therapist says what to apply, and at what time of day.
Frequently asked questions
Dry or dehydrated skin?
Dry skin lacks oil, dehydrated skin lacks water. Oily skin can be dehydrated. This treatment handles the first, the Sothys Hydra Puissance 4Ha the second.
Are there extractions?
No. Dry skin does not need them, and they would weaken it.
How often?
Once a month in winter is enough. The rest happens at home, with the right products.
Does it suit very reactive skin?
Yes, outside an eczema or cold sore flare-up. It is the gentlest protocol on the menu.
Contraindications
- Recent cut, wound or sunburn on the area
- Active cold sore or eczema flare-up on the face
- Known allergy to an ingredient in the protocol
