The treatment in detail
The skin around the eye is the thinnest on the face. It swells, hollows and creases, and a classic facial spends only seconds on it. This protocol does that zone alone, for forty-five minutes.
Six phases: preparation, exfoliation and brightening, action on lines, dark circles and puffiness, firming, immediate smoothing, then a final care step. Cleanser, an eye youth serum, a de-puffing massage cream, a tightening mask and a multi-action cream.
Cold is the tool of the protocol. The Sothys massage porcelains are chilled before the session: they narrow the vessels, which drains the puffiness and lightens a bluish dark circle.
Sothys publishes its satisfaction figures for this treatment, taken from 22 people, 24 hours after the first session: a smoothing effect and rested eyes for all of them, softened lines for 86 %, and a dark circle lightened by an average of 28 % measured with a colorimeter.

Puffiness or dark circles, does it work on both?
On both, differently. Cold drains fluid puffiness on the day. A pigmented dark circle lightens over a course, and a hollow one calls for something else.
Can it follow a facial?
Yes, on the same day. Many clients book the two back to back.
Where do the figures come from?
From a Sothys survey of 22 people, 24 hours after the first session, with colorimeter readings for the dark circle. That is a small sample, and the page says so.
Is the cold unpleasant?
No, the porcelains are cool, not icy. A known cold intolerance is however a contraindication.
