The treatment in detail

The gun sprays chilled CO2 a few centimetres from the face, at high pressure, along with a serum of hyaluronic acid and vitamins. Cold tightens, pressure drives it in, and the skin reacts within seconds.

Five minutes of spraying in a thirty-minute session: the rest is the cleanse before and the application after. It is the shortest treatment on the menu for an immediately visible effect.

The effect is at the surface and it is immediate: the complexion wakes up, the skin tightens, pores close. It lasts from a few days to a week. That is what makes it the treatment for the night before, not the month before.

It also closes the Deluxe version of Hydrabeauty, where it comes after the peel and the serums.

You can expect…

A woken complexion, tightened skin and closed pores, within the minute.

The effect lasts three to seven days. It does not build from one session to the next: it is a glow, not a deep treatment.

Frequently asked questions

Is the cold unpleasant?

The jet is cool and pressurised, it surprises for the first few seconds. A known cold intolerance is, however, a contraindication.

How long does the effect last?

Three to seven days. It is an immediate glow, not a treatment that builds over a course.

Is five minutes really enough?

For what this treatment does, yes. The other twenty-five minutes are the cleanse and the final application. A deeper treatment calls for a different technique.

Can it be combined with Hydrabeauty?

Yes, that is exactly what the Deluxe version of Hydrabeauty does: Coolifting closes the session there.

Contraindications
  • Rosacea flare-up or marked couperose
  • Known cold intolerance, cold urticaria
  • Recent cut, wound or sunburn on the area
  • Active cold sore outbreak
